This is my cute niece, she is autistic and can be difficult to photograph. I was taking pictures and she jumped on my set up and said take my picture. I was able to snap this one shot before she ran away. I love the way it turned out and am glad that I was able to capture this shot.

Contest

So we all know how much I love photography right. Well there is this site that I like to visit (http://mcpactions.com/blog/2009/07/08/win-an-slr-lens-brand-new-tamron-lens-%e2%80%93-18-270mm-or-28-300mm/ )for great photography information. They are having a give away for a Tamrom lens. I have the Tamron 17-50 and I absolutely love it. It's sharp and the color is beautiful. Click on the link above and you too can enter the contest if your interested. And if not check out there blog. They have lots of great information.

Oqurrh Mountain Temple

So on friday we took the kids to the Oqiurrh Mountain Temple open house. It was crazy busy (hint: never go on a friday, holiday weekend, or in the evening.) It took us 3 hours to go through the temple. Earlier that day I was at the gym and pulled a muscle in my calf doing step aerobics. I was in a lot of pain but we went anyway. So 3 hours of standing and walking (albiet slow walking being that we were in a line) but walking non the less. It was a long night but so worth it. There were so many people there that I wasn't able to get any full pictures of the temple but here are a few angles I was able to get without any people in it. This temple is beautiful, I want to go back when I can take pictures of it without people in the way. And I just have to add Gabby was a tropper. I am so greatful for the children that I have.
